Durham County Council Framework for Civil Engineering Works 2022 to 2024

In Jan 2022, BCE Northern was reappointed as a framework partner on the Durham County Council Civil Engineering Framework for a further two years with the option to extend for an extra year following successful fulfilment of works and schemes on the existing framework over a number of years.

Our Contract was renewed following an extensive pre-qualification and tendering process geared toward Quality, Technical Experience and Competitiveness.

As the successful Contractor of the Framework, BCE Northern undertakes many varied Civil Engineering and Highway Maintenance Schemes on behalf of the Council throughout the term.

During the previous contract period the Council and BCE worked closely together in a spirit of trust and co-operation in order to develop a mutually beneficial relationship. We believe our re-appointment is a reflection of the manner in which we have developed our collaborative working relationship.

All works orders are executed to the JCT NEC Short Contract to agreed budgets and working programmes to achieve an objective of continuous improvement in the quality and delivering of the works.

To date BCE Northern has executed in excess of 50 individual works schemes throughout the borough, ranging in size between £3000- £50,000.00 with an expenditure in excess of £1.5million.
