Excavation & Site Clearance – North East

Working alongside various councils and local authorities throughout the North East, BCE Northern Ltd have carried out a wide range of Excavation and Site Clearance work across the region. These projects have included preparing cemetery grounds, allotments and traveller sites for further building, construction and landscaping work to be completed.

Colloide Engineering. Viking Energy Network, Jarrow

Colloide Engineering Systems have appointed BCE Northern as their Civil Engineering Contractor for the Substructure Groundwork foundations, Superstructure floor slabs, Drainage and External Ductworks Works, Remediation and Foundations of the solar farm as part of the groundbreaking Viking Energy Network at Jarrow.

Horden Cemetery Extension

BCE Northern was employed by Horden Parish Council on a project to undertake works to the new Cemetery land adjacent to the existing Cemetery at Horden Village. Horden is a village in County Durham, England. It is situated on the North Sea coast, to the east of Peterlee. Horden was a mining village until the closure of the Horden Colliery in 1987.

South Tyneside Council – Civil Engineering and Public Highways Framework

BCE Northern Ltd is Framework Partner with South Tyneside Council and has successfully delivered in excess of 200 individual civil engineering and public highway works schemes throughout the borough with expenditure in excess of £5 million.

Durham County Council Framework for Civil Engineering Works 2022-2024

In Jan 2022 BCE Northern was reappointed as a framework partner on the Durham County Council Civil Engineering Framework for a further two years with the option to extend for an extra year following successful fulfilment of works and schemes on the existing framework over a number of years. Our Contract was renewed following an extensive pre-qualification and tendering process geared toward Quality, Technical Experience and Competitiveness.

South Tyneside Council – Oakleigh Garden Allotments

BCE Northern was employed by South Tyneside Council in Summer 2017, to undertake the construction of a new allotment site on vacant land in Cleadon. The works included bulk excavation, boundary fencing, an access path, water stand pipes and internal timber picket fences. Site clearance of this particular site included the removal of existing vegetation matter, the removal of stones in topsoil
